Why I Started This Web Site
My brother Brad’s fight against aggressive T-cell lymphoma has changed our lives in ways we never imagined. I never really thought of what it must be like for cancer patients’ families and what they must have gone through until it hits home. When he was diagnosed with a rare and aggressive form called extranodal NK/T-cell lymphoma, we were suddenly faced with the harsh reality of a disease that is often misdiagnosed or overlooked—just as it was in Brad’s case. This cancer not only threatens his life but also his ability to speak due to tumors affecting his sinuses and vocal cords.
Brad’s illness has devastated our family emotionally, physically, and financially. The pain of watching him struggle, the fear of the unknown, and the weightless endless hours at the hospital and treatments, the sleepless nights, the weight loss we have endured, it has put immense strain on all of us. Cancer doesn’t just affect the person diagnosed—it shakes the whole family to its core.
Because of Brad, it has made me realize the urgent need to bring more awareness to this disease and its impact. I am asking you to support the cause, join us in this fight, and help spread awareness about aggressive lymphoma so no one else has to face it alone.
Watching Brad endure hospitalizations, treatments, and setbacks—including a serious lung infection that delayed his care—has been heartbreaking. The mounting medical bills and daily challenges of managing his condition have put a tremendous strain on our family.
I created this website because I want to do everything possible to help Brad in his battle. This site is a place to share his story, raise much-needed funds for his medical and living expenses, and build a community of support and hope. Through this platform, we hope to show Brad that he is not alone.
